Awesome Experience

Everyone that I dealt with at Citywide Movers was exceptional. From Kathy in scheduling to the awesome moving crew of Bruce, Matt, Xavier Will and Tommy. They were very polite and respectful of the property and moved furniture like they owned it, careful not to damage anything. This crew worked two 12 hour days on our move and never complained once. Their positive upbeat attitude towards the task at hand was refreshing. I would highly recommend this team.

Citywide is great!

As always, Citywide did a wonderful job! This was the 5th time I have used them to help me move. Everything was packed and padded with extreme care. Matt and Will were very professional and went the extra mile to help me. I would definitely recommend Citywide to anyone. I can’t imagine using another moving company. The service I have received from Citywide has been exceptional!

Excellent

This is our third (or is it fourth?) Move with Citywide and we could not recommend them more. From coordinating wwith Kathy to the fantastic crew of Bruce, Matt, Chase and Mitchell, everything went incredibly well. Very
efficient, curious and hard working crew, they were a pleasure to work with! We will use this company and hopefully crew again when we get to move back into our remodeled home!

Kathie, was the first great part of Citywide we encountered.

Kathie, was the first great part of Citywide we encountered. She was very helpful and walking us through the services and pricing. She also offered some free boxes and packing paper which we were happy to pick up. The packers were very professional and were able to move our stuff in just a few hours. Thank you Citywide!

I highly recommend Citywide!

I highly recommend Citywide! We have used them many times and we wouldn’t use anyone else. They are experts at moving grand pianos and valuable antiques as well as everything else.

Citywide Moving literally saved the day when we were moving into our new home. They accommodated our needs, respected our property and went above and beyond our expectations.

I was planning to have a safe moving company come in at a later date to our move and transport my safe, Tim Walker made it happen for me and saved me money.

My moving team was comprised of Tim Walker, Peter, Tim Privett, Mike Jr, and Chris. If I left anyone out, I sincerely apologize.

I can’t say enough about Rod Matthews and his company. He hires hard working men and women who are respectful to their clients. These guys literally called my girlfriend ma’am when asking her where she wanted each piece of furniture or a box. Not one wall was scarred by moving heavy furniture into our new home during this move. I’m thankful for Citywide and I wish the rest of the new home experience was as stress free as my experience with Citywide!”

There are a lot of mover horror stories out there but Citywide took great care of me and my family!

Just wanted you to know that Tim, Dale and Marlon did a great job today! They were professional, courteous, friendly and expeditious. I told them next year when I have to do this again, I’m going to ask for their team specifically because they were the BEST. Jermain, Chris, Tommy and Joe did an amazing job with our move. Very efficient, professional, caring and helpful throughout the process. I am still amazed that they were able to move out and move in our bulky, heavy pieces with not one scratch on the walls or the furniture. Highly recommend this company!!

Mike H, Mike H Jr. & Adam did fantastic job moving us yesterday. They were professional, efficient and treated our belongings as if they were theirs. This was our 22nd move in 46 years and this company and crew did a five star job.

As a fellow owner of a family business, I wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a fantastic job your entire team did in making my parents move as pleasant and easy as possible. The move from a home to a retirement living community is a tough one, but everyone in your organization was absolutely fantastic. From Missy and Rhonda in the office, to Sean, Jermaine and the rest of the team on the field (names are escaping me at the moment) everyone represented your company in a way which you should be proud of. The guys on the trucks were respectful, friendly, and lightened the stress by joking around with my mom, dad, sister and I.

We were scheduled to move this Wed, however the packing process was not good for mom and dad, and when I called your office to see if we could move it a week earlier, they hustled and made it happen within 24 hours… no complaints, no frustration, they just did it… those are the types of individuals I strive to hire in my office!

My law firm is a real estate closing firm which operates in all 100 counties in NC and all 40 (or so) counties in SC. I have shared this experience with about 500+ real estate agents and lenders via social media, and I have also left reviews on yelp, google business, BBB, and facebook….

Please extend this heartfelt thank you to EVERYONE involved in this transaction!!

Great experience with Citywide Movers!

Good afternoon,
I just wanted to take moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for your company and your movers. I was told you are the best and I believe it! My relocation from Charlotte to Virginia was so smooth it was unbelievable. Shawn and the other gentlemen worked very well together. I have heard horror stories about furniture being broken or scratched, movers not showing up on time and I don’t have one bad thing to say about your movers. They arrived at the time they should have and were courteous and professional the entire time. I told them I would arrive at my new destination at a certain time, and they were there waiting on me!
They packed everything neatly, nothing was damaged, they helped get everything in a storage unit and then into an apartment. I was already experiencing anxiety from driving 6 hours, going from a 2000 sq ft house to a 1000 sq ft apartment and they remained professional and calm the entire time. I could sing their praises all day long. I wish I could have afforded to give them a huge tip! I hope you do what is needed to keep those guys and pay them well. They deserve every penny.

Professional & Efficient

I was very pleased with the way Tim, Jason & Terry handled my move. They were on time, picked efficiently & unloaded quickly, while taking care not to damage any of my belongings. The office staff was courteous, friendly and efficient with setting up the move and following up to make sure everything went smoothly. I recommend Citywide without reservation and will use them for my next move.

Citywide moved my daughter last week and they did an awesome job.. The move was from a storage unit to the third floor of an apartment complex. They were very friendly and handled each and every piece of furniture with care. I highly recommend Citywide Movers..

The Citywide employees were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Used them for the first time and did not have any trouble working through the process of scheduling to the actual move. Workers were A-class and the lady in customer service was kind and helpful. Definitely recommend Citywide Movers!

Excellent!

The company worked amazingly well from the beginning to the end. David and Jermaine, the guys who moved my stuff, were wonderful: careful, friendly, and super-efficient. I would recommend this company to all.

This was the third time I have used Citywide in the last two years! Again they were on time, professional and very efficient. I could not have asked for a better moving (stress free) experience. I will definitely use Citywide again and can easily recommend them!

Great Service over the years and many moves

I recently moved after 10 years in same home and we moves furniture and boxes out and into storage with Citywide while selling home. After 6 months our home sold and we used them to move the remainder of the house into storage, because our new home was not ready for 4 days. They are still professional and great to deal with, everyone in the office and the movers. Just love this company. My family and myself moved a combined 12 times and used them everytime prior to the 10 years. This family is just wonderful to deal with and never ever had a bad experince.

Extremely Satisfied

I want to give a shout out for Steve, Bones, and Tommy who made sure my move was completely worry-free!! They were very professional as well as extremely nice during my move!! Everything went very smoothly and I would definitely use Cjtywide Moving Systems again!!!

Professional and Efficient!

The movers and scheduling staff with Citywide were professional and easy to work with. The scheduling staff were personable and worked to accommodate my moving schedule and needs despite last minute changes. The movers were courteous and efficient with their time and took great care with my possessions as they loaded and unloaded them. I highly recommend them and will use them again if I have the need!

Very satified

Called citywide only a few days prior to move, Cathy was very helpful in getting moved scheduled for day needed. Tim and William arrived promptly.

They were friendly and very efficient, they made a stressful move less so. The items was put in storage and when they get a home, Citywide will move us again. Thanks guys for a great job!

Great Service!

City Wide’s piano moving service was great! From my first phone call to Kathy in the office through moving day, they were so pleasant to work with. They were very professional and prompt. The guys called ahead on moving day, arrived on time, and were very efficient in the packing up and delivery of the piano. It really was hassle free. The price was also very reasonable! The next time we move, we will definitely be calling City Wide.

FANTASTIC!!

We contacted Citywide to do a residential move. Gave us a great quote and away we went. On the day of the move the crew was PHENOMENAL…professional, fast, courteous, and careful. They were FANTASTIC. Great job and a great crew.

moved heavy furniture

Citywide movers moved 3 storage units plus my apartment for me the very same day. I prayed that it would go smoothly and it did. Cathy, who set everything up was fantastic and everyone took over and made a tough move go well. The even took care of a damage quickly.. Would reccomend.

I recently downsized from a 2 story home into tiny apartment temporary quarters. I did all the packing myself and was pretty tired after having worked on it all alone during the Christmas Holidays. Hiring Citywide was the best thing I could have done. Glen, Shawn, Wayne and Dale were the absolute best team ever. I want them back for my final move! I had some downright heavy stuff and they made it look like child’s play. They were on time, starting at 9 AM and finished at my apartment by 3 PM. Just awesome, positive, clean, and friendly professionals. I could not be happier with their work. I am so relieved. I could not imagine how they were going to empty my house out as quickly as they did. I am definitely going to request them for my move to the new house later this year. Keep up the good work.

A Professional Move!

We moved on November 11, 2016, and employed Citywide as our mover. We have had many experiences with different moving companies over the years, and I can say without hesitation that Citywide was the most professional firm we have ever dealt with. From the very first contact I had with the office, until the last box was unloaded, Citywide provided first class service. Our crew, comprised of David H., Jim P., Dwight M. and Dale S., arrived on time and immediately went to work. They handled our belongings as if their own, and took great care of the house we left and the one we moved to. Paying by the hour you are very sensitive to “lack of effort” by your hired workers, with this group that was never a question. Their work ethic and attitudes were above reproach. Since the move I’ve told anyone that would listen about our experience, and I would endorse this company without hesitation.

Scheduling was easy, you get assigned a sales person…

Scheduling was easy, you get assigned a sales person – when I moved 6 months ago the company I used recommended 3 guys, Citywide thought 2 would be plenty (2 is obviously less expensive than 3) – I asked them about it again and they said they were pretty sure that would be plenty based on what we have and they were correct. Citywide finished the moved in less time with 2 guys than the other company did with 3. I would have paid for 3 but they didn’t want to oversell the job, I don’t see that often.

Everything came through fine, including my doors and walls – which I really appreciate.

I have used movers a few times in Charlotte, hopefully this is our last. Never had any awful experiences, but never a good one. Movers tend to try to upsell something when they show up – insurance or other items, not these guys. I have also always had something dinged up/broken in a move – nothing huge, but something gets a little damage and this time everything came through fine, including my doors and walls – which I really appreciate.

These guys did a great job from start to finish and I highly recommend them.

Two companies I would have bet you a lot of money that would never get a good review from me 1) Time Warner Cable, 2) any moving company – at least I still have TWC to complain about. These guys did a great job from start to finish and I highly recommend them.

Good job on last weeks move!

Good job on last weeks move, Tommy, Wayne, Glen, Mike. They were helpful & outstanding, they made a hard thing for us much easier. Price & time was good. My next move will be heaven if I could let Citywide help with that. Citywide you can trust & depend on.

I’d Reccomend Shawn…

All of the moving companies I talked to charged a drive time charge equal to one hour of work, so consider that when looking at your budget. The lead mover for my job’s name was Shawn, I’d recommend asking for him.
